I'm enjoying the turns and quirks of this story. And I love the Chinese woman. In fact, I think I'd like to be the Chinese woman.

I would want to be anyone on the ship 😁, or maybe just that lucky.

I didn't expect this to be an alien story when I started reading, but I love where it ended up going! Now, how to become friends with that Chinese woman...

She is definitely the one holding the secret that you want to be close to... or maybe be careful of?!?

The story is very unusual and intriguing maybe the people on board the spaceship were 👽 and Lewis was the only human on board to experiment on. Good read Brian

Thanks for your help in the editing! Too bad we couldn't find a home to publish it. This is one of my favorites and I hope it gains a following among readers here on Substack.

Well, perhaps in a few years we will all consider Substack as a viable home for it? I love the enigma at the end: Why the Chinese woman? What did she see that made her place the call?

I sure hope so!

The great thing about the Chinese woman is that she could have her own story. Why did she call, how did she call and if she knew the end result, why did she think the planet was past saving? In the end, those are all better left unanswered to fit the story.
